I have been with Emory since November of 1987, having worked in the Financial Aid Office (9 years), Registrar's Office (2 years), and the School of Nursing (2 years) before coming to work with Dr. Bowman in the Chemistry Department in July 2000. I served on the University President's Commission on LGBT Concerns from 1998 - 2002.

I am currently seeking an M.A. in Communications in the Film/Video Production program at Georgia State University. I have degrees from Newcomb College of Tulane University (B.S,.Psychology, 1978) and University of Utah (B.A., Women's Studies, 1987). (Don't ask why I have two bachelor's degrees; it was sort of an accident!) I moved to Atlanta from Salt Lake City, UT, where I lived and worked for 7 years, including working as a machine operator for GTE and as a refinery operator at Chevron oil refinery. I grew up in Hubbard Woods, IL (a Chicago suburb) and lived in Chicago for a few years after going to college in New Orleans.

My interests and activities are many, including documentary films/filmmaking and square dancing!
