Research interests are in the biophysical realm of chemistry. My work in the group so far has been centered on building a novel FTIR microscope that utilizes microfluidic flow techniques to follow reaction kinetics. The hope with this microscope is to be able to use IR spectroscopy to follow enzymatic reactions on the micro- to millisecond timescale.
