Virtual Sherlock: Syllabus

One important goal is for you to solve the crime through careful scientific analysis. To accomplish this you will have to learn to use the PBL process and perform careful analysis of the facts of the case. You will have to support your conclusions with sound scientific arguments.
The second goal comes from the role often played by a forensic chemist as an expert witness during a trial. You would have to demonstrate a deep understanding of the science behind the investigation and stand up to prolonged cross examination. In order to accomplish this goal, you need to achieve a complete mastery of the material you encounter in the case and specifically of the topics listed below.
