Emerson Center
Created by a generous gift from Chemistry alumnus Cherry L. Emerson, the Cherry L.Chemistry Building Emerson Center for Scientific Computation, located in Emerson Hall, provides high performance computing and scientific software for the Emory community.

Mass Spectrometry Center

The Emory University Mass Spectrometry Center provides mass spectrometry services for the University, including high resolution Electron Impact and high resolution Fast Atom Bombardment to provide conformation of elemental composition.

NMR Research Facility

The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Research Facility, located in Atwood Hall, provides extensive, state-of-the-art facilities in NMR.

IM & MF (Integrated Microscopy and Microanalytical Facility)

The Integrated Microscopy and Microanalytical Facility, located in Emerson Hall, provides comprehensive microscopy services for Emory's College of Arts and Sciences, Winship Cancer Center, and the School of Medicine. molecules graphic.

X-ray Crystallography

The X-ray Crystallography Center provides a variety of X-ray facilities primarily used by the Emory Chemistry Department.

The Center for Fundamental & Applied Molecular Evolution

Established in 2003, the FAME center represents a central resource for scientist in biomolecular chemistry. Located in the Emerson Hall, it provides DNA sequencing services (Applied Biosystems Genetic Analyzer 3100) and is equipped with user-accessible, robotic high-throughput screening equipment (Tecan freedom evo Liquid Handling System, Genetix QPixll colony picker) In addition, the center overseas the Calorimetry Facility (Microcal DSC+PPC & ITC) and a JASCO J-810 CD spectropolarimeter, equipped with temperature-control and titration units.

Chemistry Library

The renovated Chemistry Library is open and ready for business. We invite you to visit our wide open spaces, our "retro" furniture and our sparkling glass vistas. Chemistry Library staff, new books, and selected current periodicals and reference books are once again available from the 4th floor of the Atwood Chemistry building.
